THE STANDING REFERENCE

Maui happy hours, kept honest

Happy hour pages rot faster than any other guide on the internet: the days change, the deal changes, the page doesn't. This one is built to be the correction — entries organized by town, confirmed against the business's own posting, and stamped with the date they were last checked.

Launch state: entries begin publishing with the first edition, one verified business at a time. A shorter guide that's right beats a long one that's stale — so nothing appears here until it has been confirmed at the source. Subscribe and the week's featured happy hour rides along in every Thursday issue.

What every entry will carry

The deal, as published

Which days, what hours, and what the offer actually is — quoted the way the business itself posts it, and linked to that posting. If the business doesn't publish the detail, the entry says so instead of rounding it into a guess.

A "last confirmed" date

Every entry is stamped with the date it was last re-checked against the source. Happy hours change with seasons and management; the stamp tells you how much to trust the line before you drive.

Organized by town

Kīhei, Lāhainā, Pāia, Upcountry, Wailuku & Kahului — because the right happy hour is the one near the rest of your evening, not across the island from it.

Kamaʻāina noted separately

A happy hour is a time-based deal open to everyone. A kamaʻāina deal is a resident discount, usually with a Hawaiʻi ID. They're different animals — when a business publishes both, the entry notes both, clearly labeled; when it publishes only one, only one appears.

The rules of this page

Run a happy hour we should list?

If your business posts a happy hour, it belongs here — free. The fastest route is the partner program on the For Businesses page: free listing, a counter card for your tables, and first claim on featured placement when sponsorships open.
